The Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC) has launched a preliminary inquiry into the fall of a passenger in a Nizhny Novgorod minibus, the agency reported.
The incident occurred on September 3, 2025, in the Kanavinsky District. According to media reports, the woman was injured after falling during the vehicle's sudden braking.
As part of the preliminary inquiry, IC investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. Particular attention will be paid to assessing compliance with safety requirements in the provision of passenger transport services.
Earlier it was reported that 5,736 violations were identified among carriers in the Nizhny Novgorod Region in 2025.
