In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the use of agricultural land totaling more than 5.5 hectares has been restored. This was reported by the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the region and the Republic of Mari El.

As the agency clarified, a violation of land legislation was identified on a plot designated for agricultural use located near the settlement of Varvarino in the Vorotynsky urban district.

The owner of the plot, D.V. Karablev, complied with the supervisory authority’s order and carried out mechanical clearing of the land. During the work, trees, shrubs and weeds that prevented the land from being used for its intended purpose were removed.

After the measures were carried out, the plot was brought back into agricultural use and is now being used for its intended purpose.

Following the inspection, specialists from Rosselkhoznadzor recorded that the order was fulfilled in full and within the established time frame.

Earlier it was reported that a huge dump of solid household waste covering 2.88 hectares was found on agricultural land in the Krasnooktyabrsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
