      In Nizhny Novgorod, improvement works on the public space near building No. 2a on October Avenue, next to the Avtozavod department store, have been completed.

      The Avtozavod District administration told NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" that the site has already been handed over for acceptance. A commission has begun an inspection of the area and a quality check of the completed work.

      Following the initial assessment, the contractor received remarks. As of today, specialists continue to rectify the identified defects.

      The administration clarified that all shortcomings must be fixed in the near future, after which the site will be formally accepted.

      Recall that in August two public spaces in Nizhny Novgorod were opened after renovation: the boulevard along Gagarin Avenue and Vedenyapin Street in Avtozavod.

      It was also reported that Nizhny Novgorod authorities plan to begin reconstruction of Avtozavod Park in 2026.
