      There will be no pilot of the "Conversations about Important Things" project in the kindergartens of Nizhny Novgorod, the editorial office of NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has found out.

      In August, the Russian Ministry of Education announced the start of a pilot of the "Conversations about Important Things" project in kindergartens in the 2025/2026 academic year. For this, 22 Russian regions were selected that actively develop innovative approaches to preschool education. Among them are Moscow, the DPR, the LPR, Samara, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod and other regions.

      It was noted that the pilot was intended to be carried out in September–November. In the classes, it is planned to talk with children about the importance of family and friendship, honesty and compassion. They will also foster respect for Russia's culture and history.

      "Educators will take part in methodological seminars, after which they will begin working with materials prepared by specialists from the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing, subordinate to the Russian Ministry of Education," TASS writes.

      The editorial office of NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" contacted the city education department. There they said that Nizhny Novgorod's kindergartens were not included among the pilot educational institutions of the "Conversations about Important Things" project.

      Recall that "Conversations about Important Things" are already being held in Nizhny Novgorod schools.
