"Don't get angry, don't be jealous, smile": Ekaterina Andreeva revealed the secret to success

Well-known TV presenter and star of the program "Vremya" on Channel One, Ekaterina Andreeva, gave a master class titled "Tools for the Success of the Modern Woman" in Nizhny Novgorod at the KUPNO venue.
For almost two hours, Ekaterina Andreeva shared personal experiences, life lessons and practical recommendations on how a woman can fulfill herself in the modern world. Her talk was rich, sincere and deep — from philosophical reflections to concrete self-development tools.
Andreeva began her meeting with impressions of Nizhny Novgorod, noting that she liked the city very much.
"I arrived in Nizhny and immediately felt that there is a special atmosphere here. This is a city with history, with character. There is beautiful architecture, stunning views, very friendly people. I feel comfortable here, and I am grateful for the warm welcome," she said.
One of the key parts of the master class was devoted to so-called "reference points" — fateful moments that change the course of life. Andreeva recounted how, once while working at the prosecutor's office, her life was put at risk. That event became a turning point: she left law enforcement and began a path to television that eventually led her to the "information Olympus."
"If it hadn't been for that knife in my liver, you wouldn't see me on screen," she admitted, describing an attempt to pressure her in order to steal an important criminal case.
Andreeva also emphasized the importance of physical activity and body care. She has practiced yoga for more than 20 years, considers bodily flexibility an indicator of mental flexibility, and is convinced that health is the foundation of success.
She paid special attention to the role of intuition. According to her, the heart contains more than 40,000 neurons, and signals from it to the brain are more numerous than the other way around.
"Listening to the heart is not a poetic metaphor, it is a biological reality. And if you learn to hear yourself, you will begin to make more accurate decisions," she noted.
The presenter urged people to pay close attention to their surroundings and to take as role models only those who have truly achieved success.
"If you are surrounded by whiners — you will start whining too. If you are surrounded by strong people — you will become stronger," she said, and reminded the audience that it is important not only to listen to advice, but to understand who is giving it and with what intentions.
Andreeva touched on the topic of childhood psychological traumas that can block an adult's development. She gave examples of how working through these traumas has literally allowed people to rewrite their destinies.
"We all come from childhood. And if you don't deal with what traumatized you in your early years, it will hinder you your whole life," she emphasized.
At the same time, the presenter spoke warmly about her parents. She noted that her father had a huge influence on her formation as a person and on her path to success. From childhood he accustomed her to sport, hardening and discipline. These activities formed an internal backbone in her that helped her overcome difficulties in adult life.
Ekaterina Andreeva paid special attention to the role of women in society. She spoke about archetypes of female leadership — Venus (pleasure), Minerva (wisdom) and the Housewife (care) — and stressed that every woman can be successful if she understands her nature and leans on her strengths.
"Female energy is not a weakness, but a creative force. And it is precisely this that can change society," Andreeva declared.
The presenter also reminded the audience of the importance of mindful eating. She referred to a 50-year American study that showed excessive consumption of red meat is linked to high mortality.
"We are what we eat. And if a person cannot make the causal connection between a fried crust and cancer, they cannot be successful," she said.
At the end of the master class, Ekaterina Andreeva offered participants a simple but powerful tool: take a sheet of paper and divide it into two columns — "given" and "desired result." This, she said, helps start an honest conversation with oneself.
"Success begins with understanding who you are and what you want. And if you don't lie to yourself, the Universe won't lie to you," she concluded.
After Andreeva's talk, the audience, which included young journalists, mothers, bloggers and fans, had the opportunity to ask her questions. They asked about a wide range of topics — from beauty secrets to the philosophy of live broadcasting.
The inevitable question about appearance came up. They asked Ekaterina how she manages to look so young. She replied that the secret is not in cosmetics, but in lifestyle.
"Don't be angry, don't be envious, smile, bring feminine energy into the world — that is the basis of beauty. Plus — good sleep, exercise, clean water, a cold room and an orthopedic pillow," she said.
One audience member asked how the presenter copes with the workload and how many hours a day she sleeps. Andreeva admitted that her schedule is often unstable: sometimes she sleeps 2 hours, sometimes 8. It all depends on the situation.
"But I use Leonardo da Vinci's sleep technique — 15 minutes of sleep every hour. It helps me recover in extreme conditions," she shared.
Andreeva was also asked how she keeps her composure on live TV, especially in difficult or unexpected situations. She answered that her phlegmatic temperament helps, as well as a high level of discipline and an inner respect for the viewer.
On a creative question about self-perception, Andreeva compared herself to a river. "I can be a waterfall, I can be smooth. Water carries life, emotions, strength. It transforms and carries away everything unnecessary," she summed up.
Earlier, at the public talk "Healthy Slimness and the Evolution of Beauty" in Nizhny Novgorod, actress and singer Anna Semenovich spoke about her struggle with excess weight.
