      The premiere of the comedy-detective series "Curious Varvara. Season Two" (6+) will take place on October 2 exclusively on the online cinema Wink.ru (a joint venture of Rostelecom and NMG). The leading roles in the continuation of the beloved project are played by Polina Aynutdinova, Sergey Fedorov, Veronika Zhuravleva, Lyudmila Artemyeva, Viktor Bychkov, Stepan Devonin, Sergey Stepin, Elena Borshcheva and Vera Ostrovskaya.

      The series was produced by the film company Cargo with the support of the Internet Development Institute (ANO "IRI") and NMG Studio. Director — Yuriy Korobeinikov, showrunner — Karen Oganesyan.       In the new season, the young sleuth Varvara Smorodina arrives in Pyatigorsk with her family and friends for spring break. As always, by her side is her investigation partner Vasya, her sister — the glamorous beauty Zoya, her grandmother — a former forensic expert, and her grandfather — a retired investigator. In the new location Zoya will try her hand at acting, while Varvara will face many unusual and mysterious cases that only she can solve. A sinister "Hound of the Baskervilles" haunts a famous writer. Vandals paint popular monuments in bright colors. An unusual crime occurs on the set of the film "A Hero of Our Time." Curious Varvara is back in action, but now she has a rival for the federal "Young Sleuth" competition — an equally curious Angelina Abrikosova...

      Filming of the second season of "Curious Varvara" covered several locations in the Caucasian Mineral Waters region: Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk, Zheleznovodsk and the village of Elkush.
