It has been revealed where the "Buy Nizhny Novgorod" fairs will take place in September.

      In September, 20 "Buy Nizhny Novgorod Products" fairs (0+) will be held in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Events will be organized in 18 municipalities where entrepreneurs and self-employed persons will be able to present their goods to the region's residents.

      The Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maxim Cherkasov, noted that the fairs have become one of the most in-demand forms of business support. According to him, they allow local producers to introduce buyers directly to their products and expand their markets.

      The first autumn fairs will start on September 6 in the Sechenovsky and Semyonovsky districts, as well as in Chkalovsk. Food products, folk crafts and handmade goods will be presented there at producers' prices.

      To obtain a free trading spot, entrepreneurs must submit an application to the administration of the respective district. The schedule of fairs and contact details of those responsible are published on the website of the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade. The list is adjusted monthly taking into account municipalities' proposals.

      Recall that the "Buy Nizhny Novgorod Products" project has been implemented in the region since 2009. Many fairs are timed to coincide with City Day, Settlement Day or large thematic celebrations.

The center operates within the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".

      As the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia notes, the national project is aimed at forming a new growth model. It includes federal initiatives to develop small and medium-sized businesses, increase labor productivity, stimulate investment, promote low-carbon technologies, and improve the system of statistics and forecasting.
