      Four new large schools and 11 extensively renovated ones will open their doors in the Nizhny Novgorod region on September 1. This was reported on his Telegram channel by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin.

      This includes new buildings for schools No. 96 and No. 188 in the regional center. They were built under a concession under the supervision of the Regional Development Corporation.

      "Our team is constantly working on renewing educational institutions and creating new ones," he noted.

      According to the head of the region, the opening of new and refurbished educational institutions is a celebration not only for the children but also for their teachers and parents, as well as for those who worked to ensure they would like the result.

      "Congratulations!" added the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      Gleb Nikitin specified that on September 1, 2025 the new school year will begin for almost 360,000 children.

      Earlier it was reported that more than 14,000 first-graders will take their seats at desks in Nizhny Novgorod.

      Earlier, the Minister of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Mikhail Puchkov, spoke about the changes that await schoolchildren in the new school year.
