T Plus's Kstovo heat networks are finalizing preparations for the heating season.

      Society. The head of Nizhny Novgorod, Yuriy Shalabaev, visited the boiler house of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of T Plus in the Kstovo district. Branch director Irina Gneusheva told him about the readiness of the energy facilities for the heating season.

      The boiler house on Bolnichny Lane heats 10 apartment buildings, a school, a kindergarten and two buildings of the Central District Hospital. It is equipped with four modern boiler units with an average efficiency of 93.17%. The boiler equipment is fully ready to start supplying heat.

      To date, specialists from the Kstovo heat networks of T Plus have prepared the thermal equipment of all 28 boiler houses and 16 central heating points for the upcoming winter. Eighty-five percent of the heat network sections have successfully passed strength and tightness tests. From next week, trial firings of the boiler houses will begin according to schedule.

      Planned relaying of heating and hot water pipelines is being completed. Contractor specialists are replacing heat mains on Kapitana Rachkova Avenue, Pobedy Avenue and several other sections. In 2025, T Plus will reconstruct 5 km of heating networks in the Kstovo district.

      "All work necessary to deliver heat to residents will be completed before the start of the heating season. During the summer maintenance campaign we did everything necessary so that Kstovo residents' homes would be warm and comfortable in winter," said Irina Gneusheva.

      Yuriy Shalabaev noted that all work to prepare for the heating season is on schedule: "The percentage of readiness of heat supply sources and networks is high. In order to be fully prepared, I instructed the head of the local self-government of the Kstovo district, Ivan Ulanov, to accelerate the process of issuing readiness certificates. At the beginning of September trial firings are already planned to begin, after which we will rely not only on weather forecasts but also on residents' comfort, without waiting for regulatory values."
