      Some branches of Russian Post in Nizhny Novgorod have temporarily switched to reduced opening hours. Residents of the city noticed this.

      In particular, the branch at 111 Nevzorovykh Street now operates only on Tuesdays from 8:00 to 9:00; in Ankudinovka, at 2 Cherkasskaya Street — on Fridays from 11:00 to 12:00. The branch at 7 Sovetskaya Square also serves visitors only on Fridays. It is open from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.

      In a comment to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod", a representative of Russian Post explained that this is a temporary situation.

      "It is related to some vacancies, as well as employees' sick leaves and summer vacations. Customers at branches with reduced hours are served by mobile-group operators. At the same time, the delivery of pensions, benefits and correspondence is carried out by postmen to homes as usual," the company said.

      Russian Post also added that as soon as personnel return to work, the branches will restore their usual schedules. Residents were also reminded that all main services are available at other operating branches.

      Earlier it was reported that Russian Post's net loss for 2024 exceeded 20 billion rubles.
