In the Nizhny Novgorod region, applications for marriage registration on "beautiful dates" in 2026 have begun to be accepted. An application can be submitted via the Gosuslugi portal or in person at the chosen registry office.
The most in-demand date is considered to be 26 July 2026 (26.07.2026) — because of the mirrored combination of digits. On that day, which falls on a Sunday, the Nizhny Novgorod and Zarechny Wedding Palaces, as well as the Avtozavodsky Wedding Palace, will be open especially for couples.
Among popular options are also 26.06.26 and 26.08.26.
Earlier it was reported that new venues for off-site marriage registration will appear in Nizhny Novgorod.
