“As part of the work at the Zarechnaya metro station, the perimeter paving, structural components of the parapets, approach-area rooms, metal structures of the dirt trap, stair flights and landings will be repaired with the installation of a heating system and cladding with porcelain stoneware tiles; metal frames for the pavilions, a ventilated façade and a roof made of sandwich panels will be constructed. The interior of the pavilion will also be clad with porcelain stoneware tiles; for passenger comfort new stainless-steel handrails and railings, Metro-type swing doors and stained-glass panels will be installed. Security will be ensured by installing video surveillance systems and intercom devices,” MP "Nizhegorodskoye Metro" said.
