A new children's polyclinic of the FMBA of Russia has opened in Sarov.
The ceremonial opening of a new children's polyclinic of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) of Russia took place in Sarov. The ceremony was attended by FMBA head Veronika Skvortsova and the CEO of the state corporation Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev. This was reported by editor-in-chief of the news agency "Statsionar-Press," Alexey Nikonov.
The medical facility is equipped with modern equipment. The polyclinic houses eye care rooms, the Center for Reproductive Health of Children and Adolescents, a day hospital, and a rehabilitation department. Particular attention is drawn to the so-called "smart" ward—an innovative system capable of collecting data on more than 100 physiological parameters in 10 minutes. Based on the results of the examination, the pediatrician develops individualized recommendations on nutrition and lifestyle.
The staffing issue has been resolved at a high level: thanks to the support of Rosatom, which purchases housing for medical workers, the roster of district pediatricians is fully staffed, and staffing of specialist doctors stands at 91%.
The new polyclinic continues a large-scale program to develop healthcare in atomic towns. For example, more than 600 high-tech operations—stenting procedures and coronary angiographies—have already been performed at the vascular center in Sarov, which opened a year ago.
Over the past four years, the FMBA of Russia, together with Rosatom, has invested more than 1 billion rubles in the development of medical infrastructure in the atom towns.
Earlier, pravda-nn.ru reported that a combined prosthetics and orthopedics center will open in Nizhny Novgorod.
