SocietyThe Ministry of Property and Land Relations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has announced an electronic auction for the sale of a cultural heritage site of regional significance — the Obolensky estate, located in the settlement of Krasnaya Gorka in Vorotynsky District.
The auction features a non-residential building with a total area of 414.2 sq. m and a land plot of 13,350 sq. m.
Applications will be accepted until 8 September 2025. The auction will be held on 12 September 2025 at 09:30 on the Unified Electronic Trading Platform. Participation is open to persons registered in the GIS "Torgi" system and on the "Gosuslugi" portal, and who have a valid electronic signature.
As previously reported by the Department for State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites, the estate was seized from the previous owner by court decision in May 2024. The reason was the unsatisfactory condition of the building and the lack of measures to preserve it. The property had been privately owned since 2017, but orders to ensure its preservation were ignored.
Earlier it was reported that the house of merchant Bashkirov and the adjacent land plot in Gorodets were put up for electronic auction.NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has a Telegram channel.
