      The new service became available on August 21, 2025. Nizhny Novgorod residents can now issue a card from another region in the app and use it to pay for trips in Kaluga, Kirov, Samara, Sverdlovsk and Tyumen, and Omsk oblasts, as well as in the Udmurt and Chuvash Republics and the Republic of Mari El.

      The "Roaming with VTK" project was implemented by Siticard in cooperation with regional payment system operators. The solution runs on a unified digital platform and is available on Android smartphones with NFC support.

      To activate a card from another region, simply update the app to the latest version and change your location in the profile. The issuance process takes just a few minutes. The activation fee corresponds to the tariffs of the selected region. Card top-ups are also made through the mobile app.

      According to company director Yuri Ryabikov, the new service is aimed at passengers who travel frequently and prefer to use their smartphones for payment.

      Since June, Nizhny Novgorod residents have had the option to pay for a single ride on the cable car with a Siticard.
