The winning projects of the second season of the "Entrepreneurship Leaders" program have been selected in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Twenty winners* of the competition for the best project among participants of the second season of the educational program "Leaders of Entrepreneurship" have been determined in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The in-person project defenses were held at the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (KUPNO).

      The regional business project competition commission for the second season of the "Leaders of Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" program included representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod regional government, heads of relevant agencies, employees of the Nizhny Novgorod city administration and deputies of the City Duma.

      The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Andrey Sanosyan.

      "The 'Leaders of Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region' program gave us a large number of interesting projects. I am confident that the second season was interesting and useful for participants, helped them gain new knowledge and skills and, most importantly, become part of a large entrepreneurial community. Cooperation in business is a guarantee of success. And our task is to be close and to help. In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, good relations have been built between government authorities, representatives of entrepreneurial support infrastructure and business. Together we try to do everything so that our region moves forward," said Andrey Sanosyan.

      Thirty-six projects that passed the remote stage of the regional business project competition for the second season of the "Leaders of Entrepreneurship" program reached the final of the contest. Twenty of them were recognized as winners. These are projects aimed at supporting families and children's education, developing farming and unmanned aviation, and preserving historical heritage.

      Recall that the second season of the educational program "Leaders of Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" started in April 2025. A total of 4,072 applications were submitted. After expert selection, 300 participants received the opportunity to take a specialized educational course. During the training, program participants were given the opportunity to work with experienced entrepreneur-mentors. Each will receive personal support in developing and improving their business idea.

      "A true leader of entrepreneurship is able to see opportunities where others see only difficulties, and confidently lead their idea to success. It is also important that these are socially oriented projects aimed at improving people's lives. And it is precisely such projects that became the winners of the second season of the program. It is gratifying to see the enormous potential of young entrepreneurs of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. We are confident that thanks to our participants new successful businesses will appear, creating jobs and developing the region's economy," commented the project manager of "Leaders of Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Season 2", Maria Samodelkina.

      Upon completion of the training, the top 100 finalists will receive diplomas from the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and will continue to receive support in implementing their business initiatives. As a result of the first season of "Leaders of Entrepreneurship," the authors of the 10 best projects were awarded grants of 500,000 rubles each.

      Recall that the development of entrepreneurship in the country is one of the main tasks of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy," initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. This national project is the main tool for forming a new model of economic growth. The national project also includes projects aimed at increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, low-carbon development, and developing the state system of statistics and forecasting.
