Nearly 5 million rubles will be allocated to create a recreation area on the Kudma River in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The corresponding tender was posted by the district administration on the public procurement website.
The project provides for the improvement of the area around Lake Vishenka, which is fed by the waters of the Kudma River and spring sources. The site is free of buildings and trees, which allows it to be developed from scratch.
According to the technical specifications, the contractor will have to carry out a whole range of works. The recreational area will feature shade canopies, sun loungers, benches, beach changing rooms, as well as a sand‑surfaced beach volleyball court.
In addition, a lifeguard tower, a container area with garbage bins, and a self-contained toilet module will be installed on the site. All facilities will be placed on concrete foundations with access made of crushed stone. Sand backfilling and leveling of the site are also planned.
Because the site is located in an area that may be flooded during the spring high water and heavy rains, the project provides for the seasonal dismantling of flood-prone equipment and its storage in safe conditions.
Work is planned to be completed by 15 October 2025. The winner of the tender will be determined on 26 August, and the deadline for contractor applications will be 25 August.
It was previously reported that the project's implementation is carried out within the framework of the federal program "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment", which is part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
It was also reported that the landscaping of Avtozavodsky Park is planned to begin in 2026.
