      The demolition project for the problematic 14‑storey building at 5 Garazhny Lane in the Sovetsky District of Nizhny Novgorod received a positive conclusion from the state examination. Information about this appeared in the Unified State Register of Conclusions.

      The work on inspecting the structures and preparing the demolition organization project was carried out by LLC "Veles NN". The client was the Ministry of Property and Land Relations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      According to the project documentation, the building is subject to complete demolition. The examination was conducted by the State Autonomous Institution "Department of State Examination of Design Documentation and Results of Engineering Surveys" of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Construction of the building on Garazhny Lane began back in 2002. The developer was the company "Nash Dom", later declared bankrupt. It proved impossible to complete construction without violating the law — this was confirmed by a construction and technical examination. All shared‑equity investors received compensation from the state. In 2022 the plot was transferred for free use to the state enterprise "Dom NN".

      After the demolition of the unfinished building, a new apartment building is planned to be erected on the site.
