The Nizhny Novgorod restaurant "Robinson" was sold for almost 62 million rubles.

      The "Robinson" restaurant on the Rowing Canal was sold for less than half its starting price. This was reported in the Unified Federal Register of Bankruptcy Information.

      The property was acquired by the company "K2" for 62.6 million rubles. This is more than two times lower than the initial price stated in the auction documentation, 156.3 million rubles.

      Previously the property belonged to the Moscow company "Redmit," which was declared bankrupt. The building, with an area of almost 2,000 square meters on a plot of 1,464 square meters, stood vacant for about ten years. Attempts to sell it were made from spring 2025, with a starting price of 173.7 million rubles. However, due to the absence of buyers the price was successively reduced until it reached the final transaction amount.

      It was previously reported that the company "K2", which bought the property, will build a multifunctional hotel complex "H2O" with 300 rooms on the reclaimed embankment of the Rowing Canal next to building No. 108, where "Robinson" is located. It will be within the boundaries of Rodionova Street, Kazansky Descent, Lysogorskaya and the Pecherskie Peski peninsula. In January 2025 the company received a construction permit from the city ministry of urban development. It is known that the complex will include two hotels — one two-storey and one six-storey — as well as four blocks ranging from two to five storeys. The total area of the buildings will be 41,450 square meters.

      It was also reported that the seized car center in Kanavino was put up for auction for 1.26 billion rubles.
