Nizhny Novgorod authorities saved nearly 305 million rubles in tenders.

      The government of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast managed to save 306.8 million rubles as a result of tenders held in July 2025, the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Investment reported.

      During the month, the state institution "Order Placement Center of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast" organized 150 tender procedures totaling 3.4 billion rubles.

      The greatest savings were achieved in the selection of financial services providers — 41.7 million rubles were saved when concluding contracts for the provision of credit resources.

      In addition, significant funds were saved on the development of project documentation — 27 million rubles — and on the purchase of coal — 24.2 million rubles.

      From the beginning of 2025 through July inclusive, the region conducted 767 tenders totaling 53.4 billion rubles. The total amount of funds saved during this period amounted to 2.7 billion rubles.

      As noted by the Order Placement Center, an average of 4.2 bids are received for each successfully awarded lot, which indicates a high level of competition among tender participants.

      It was previously reported that more than 430 million rubles were saved as a result of competitive tenders held by the government of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
