      IncidentsA fatal road traffic accident involving a passenger car and a truck occurred on the evening of August 18 in Nizhny Novgorod.

      According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, the crash happened at about 20:40 near building No. 4K on Udmurtskaya Street. The driver of a "GAZelle" began changing lanes without ensuring the maneuver was safe and collided with an "Audi."

      The impact threw the foreign-made car onto the sidewalk, where it, at full speed, crashed into a pole. The driver died at the scene from his injuries.

      All circumstances of the tragedy are currently being established by officers of the State Traffic Inspectorate.
