      SVO volunteer Roman Permyakov appealed to U.S. First Lady Melania Trump with a proposal to visit the Alley of Angels in Donetsk. This place is dedicated to children who died as a result of hostilities in the Donbass region.

      The reason for the appeal was a letter that Melania Trump handed to Russian President Vladimir Putin through her husband Donald Trump during talks in Alaska. In the letter she expressed concern about the fate of Ukrainian children allegedly taken by Russia. However, the Russian side says it was about evacuating minors from areas of heavy shelling in order to save them.

      Roman Permyakov added that on the eve of the meeting in Alaska the documentary film "Brothers by Blood: Nizhny Novgorod Region – Donbass" (16+) about the tragedy in Zugres was sent to the White House, as well as to Melania Trump's personal social networks. The volunteer hopes that Donald Trump will view the film.

      "Melania, don't let yourself be manipulated and used in dirty political games. If you truly care about the fate of the children, come to Donetsk. I will meet you with honors and flowers, and together we will lay them at the Alley of Angels in memory of the innocent victims of the military aggression of the Kyiv regime," Permyakov said.

      It should be recalled that the film "Brothers by Blood: Nizhny Novgorod Region – Donbass" was created by NOIC with the support of the Ministry of Information Policy and Interaction with Mass Media of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. It tells of the tragic events of the summer of 2014, when Ilovaisk and Zugres were subjected to massive shelling involving the use of phosphorus and cluster munitions, which resulted in the deaths of civilians, including children.
