      On the evening of August 17, at the 44th kilometer of the "Nizhny Novgorod – Kirov" highway in Borsky District, a road traffic accident occurred involving a walk-behind tractor (motoblock) and a GAZelle cargo vehicle. The accident happened at about 18:30 near the settlement of Linda.

      Preliminary findings indicate that the driver of the walk-behind tractor, a man born in 1977, was intoxicated. He drove onto the roadway and collided with the GAZelle, which was being driven by a man born in 1964.

      As a result of the accident, a passenger of the small tractor — a woman born in 1980 — was injured. She was taken to the Borsk Central District Hospital with injuries.

      It was also found that the driver of the walk-behind tractor did not have documents authorizing him to operate the vehicle. An investigation into the incident is underway to establish all the circumstances of the accident.

      Earlier reports said that a road traffic accident involving a drunk driver in Pavlovsky District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region resulted in a criminal case.
