      Incidents

      The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened several criminal cases after drone attacks which, according to the investigation, were launched by Ukrainian armed formations and caused damage to civilian and critical infrastructure in a number of Russian regions. This was reported by the agency's information center.

      Investigators also opened a criminal case under the article on a terrorist act committed by a group of persons and resulting in grave consequences. This concerns attacks on civilian facilities in the Voronezh, Astrakhan and Nizhny Novgorod regions.

      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, on the territory of Kstovsky District, a drone damaged a section of a power transmission line.

      The Investigative Committee continues to establish the identities of those involved in these attacks and is also assessing the material damage caused.

      Recall that on the night of August 16–17, 14 drones were shot down over the Nizhny Novgorod region. As the regional head Gleb Nikitin reported, as a result of that UAV attack no one was injured.
