      During the International Forum "Twin and Partner Cities," the Nizhny Novgorod TV tower will become a vivid symbol of hospitality and cultural diversity. This was reported by Mayor Yuriy Shalabaev on his Telegram channel.

      Thus, from August 14 to 17, from 21:00 to 22:00, a light installation will appear on its facade, combining the colors of the Russian tricolor and the traditional ornaments of the region's folk arts and crafts.

      "On the media facade a greeting — 'Welcome to Nizhny Novgorod!' — will be broadcast in the languages of the countries that came to congratulate our city on its 804th anniversary: Farsi, Chinese, Serbian, Belarusian, Kyrgyz, Abkhaz, Uzbek," the mayor noted.

      According to the Department of Tourism Development and External Relations, Nizhny Novgorod is hosting the "Twin and Partner Cities" forum for the third time. Among the invitees are representatives of partner cities from China, Serbia, Belarus, Iran, Abkhazia, Kyrgyzstan, Transnistria and other countries.

      Earlier it was reported that Uma2rman, IOWA, "Mirazh" and others will perform at City Day (6+) in Nizhny Novgorod.
