      On August 16 from 12:00 to 19:00, as part of the City Day celebrations, interactive zones dedicated to important social and youth initiatives, as well as patriotic education, will be presented on Minin and Pozharsky Square.       In the “Young Nizhny” tent, the first block of the program “Nizhny Novgorod — City of Labor Valor” will feature an exhibition of the city’s factories and enterprises “Contribution to History: Enterprises for the Front,” as well as individual and team tournaments in the board game versions of “Battle for Nizhny” and “Battle for the Motherland.” The second block, “Nizhny Novgorod — Homeland of Heroes,” will host an open dialogue with representatives of the city’s youth and the awarding of participants in the city competition for contemporary patriotic songs “Voice of the Homeland.” In the third block, “We Remember. Visitors will be able to view unique trophy exhibits, test their accuracy in a digital shooting gallery, and learn the basics of UAV control on a simulator. An important part will be practical master classes where one can learn to weave camouflage nets or use a tactical first-aid kit. An interactive quiz with commemorative prizes is provided for active participants.
