      Incidents — In Nizhny Novgorod, the identity of the driver who staged a dangerous run along the Nizhnevolzhskaya Embankment has been established, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.

      Recall that a video circulating on social media shows a young man riding on the roof of a Mercedes. Such "fun" caused a widespread public outcry.

      The car was being driven by a 33-year-old man. As a result of the inspection, it was found that, in addition to transporting a passenger outside the cabin, the driver was not wearing a seat belt, was driving without a valid OSAGO policy, and was also using gas equipment and winter tires out of season.

      The total amount of fines imposed on the offender amounted to 3,500 rubles. In addition, the case materials were sent to the technical supervision department with the aim of canceling the vehicle's registration.

      Earlier it was reported that police held a driver to account who was racing in a "Niva" on Kiselev Square near the GAZ Cultural Center in the Avtozavodsky district.
