Management companies offered to write off Nizhny Novgorod residents' housing and utility debts.

      Residents of five districts of Nizhny Novgorod have been given the opportunity to have penalties charged for late payment of housing and utility services waived. The initiative is being carried out as part of the "Settle Debts — Write Off Penalties" campaign organized by the Association of Five House Management Companies of the city.

      According to the Association’s press service, the campaign will run until the end of summer. To take advantage of the offer, several conditions must be met.

      By 31 August citizens must fully repay their housing and utility debt or sign an installment agreement. After that, it is important to strictly adhere to the schedule of monthly payments or comply with the terms of the signed agreement.

      Additionally, it is required to activate an electronic bill or install the "My Home 24" mobile app, which allows users to monitor charges and pay for services online.

      The Association notes that this measure helps reduce the financial burden on city residents and makes paying for services more convenient.

      Earlier, Nizhny Novgorod residents were told ways to save on utility tariff payments after July’s indexation.
