      Passenger departures by long-distance trains to Moscow maintained positive growth on the Gorky Railway in January–July 2025.

      Trains running from Nizhny Novgorod toward the Russian capital carried 831,000 passengers over six months. That is 1.3% more than in the same period last year. Twenty-eight direct and transit trains operate between the cities.

      From Kazan in this direction, 440,700 passengers were carried (+3.7%). The capital of Tatarstan and Moscow are connected by 17 trains.

      Long-distance trains from Kirov to Moscow carried 166,400 passengers in January–July (on par with last year, a leap year). The city on the Vyatka River and the capital are connected by 15 direct and transit trains.

      From Izhevsk in this direction, 79,700 passengers were carried (+0.3%). Four trains operate between the cities.
