      On the under-construction bypass of Gagarin Avenue in Nizhny Novgorod, the first bored pile has been poured, which will mark the beginning of the construction of the overpass across the Olgino–Bolshaya Yelnya highway. Photographs from the work site were published by the contractor "Avtoban."

      The overpass being built will be 79.3 meters long. Its construction is being carried out as part of the implementation of the first stage of the second phase of the Gagarin Avenue bypass project.

      As explained by Ivan Khlamin, head of production for artificial structures at PK "Avtoban," the next stage will be the installation of another 28 bored piles for pier No. 2. These structures will form the basis of the foundation for the entire overpass. At the same time, active work is underway on other phases of the project at the site: the earthworks are being formed, asphalt concrete pavement is being laid, and utility networks are being relocated. The overall readiness of the entire Gagarin Avenue bypass, construction of which began in March 2024, has already exceeded 20%.
