      Culture and Leisure The building of the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Drama Theater named after M. Gorky is being prepared for large-scale restoration. This is reported on the public procurement website.

      The cultural institution has announced an electronic auction for the development of scientific and design documentation for the restoration of the building’s facades, roof and basement waterproofing. The project also provides for the installation of an external video surveillance system.

      The building is a monument of history and culture of federal significance, built in 1895–1896 and located in the center of Nizhny Novgorod on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street.

      The starting contract price is 3.3 million rubles. Participation in the bidding is limited to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses only.

      Applications are accepted until 19 August. The winner will have to prepare the design documentation by 31 December 2025, excluding the time required for obtaining approvals.
