      The project of MBUK "Central Club System" of the Sergach municipal district of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast became the winner of PJSC LUKOIL's 2024 Competition of Social and Cultural Projects. On August 10, with the support of LUKOIL, the third inter-district music festival "The Garmon Can Be Heard in Tolba" was held.

      The festival brought together recognized masters of their craft, amateurs who play the garmon and balalaika, as well as creative ensembles, chastushka performers, and folk singers. Participants came from all corners of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, as well as from Krasnodar Krai and the city of Anapa.

      34 people demonstrated their performing skills, presenting festival guests with 58 vibrant concert numbers.

      At the end of the event, all participants were treated to a delicious spread of traditional pies and hot samovar tea.

      "We thank LUKOIL for supporting our festival. We purchased a modern sound system and can now hold all our events at a higher level, using our own equipment," said project leader Lyudmila Shirkaeva.
