Photos of the construction of the future overpass on Gagarin's service road have been published.

      Economy: In Nizhny Novgorod, on the service road of Gagarin Avenue, the first bored pile was poured, which will become part of pier No. 1 of the future overpass over the Olgino – Bolshaya Yelnya highway. This was reported by the construction and investment holding "Avtoban", which is carrying out the construction.

      The 79.3-meter-long structure is being erected as part of the first stage of the second phase of the new road's construction.

      According to Ivan Khlamin, head of artificial structures production at PK "Avtoban", another 28 similar piles are scheduled for pier No. 2. They will form the basis of the foundation for the entire overpass.

      Earlier it was reported that work continues on the second and third phases of the project: the roadbed is being formed, asphalt is being laid, and utility lines are being relocated. An overpass is also being built at the intersection with the federal R-158 highway.

      The overall completion of the Gagarin Avenue service road, construction of which began in March 2024, has already exceeded 20%.

      It was also announced that an interdepartmental commission of the Russian Ministry of Transport approved the allocation of a federal subsidy for the construction of the fifth bridge across the Oka River. It is planned for the fourth phase of the service road's construction.
