Twenty-five young teachers and researchers from 12 countries developed seven joint educational projects in the fields of linguistics, psychology, international relations and youth policy.

The ceremonial closing of the international project "Summer Institute 2025" took place at the Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University named after N.A. Dobrolyubov, an event that became a landmark for participants from around the world.

The event brought together 25 young teachers and researchers representing 22 organizations from a record 12 countries: the People's Republic of China, the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of India, the Republic of Belarus, Moldova, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, the Republic of Tajikistan, Malaysia, Indonesia and South Korea.

"Organizing an international Summer Institute at NNSLU with the participation of teachers and researchers from 12 countries is not only a step toward strengthening educational cooperation, but also a vivid confirmation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region's openness to knowledge exchange. The Nizhny Novgorod Region rightfully counts as one of Russia's leading educational centers. Our universities have concluded more than 420 international cooperation agreements, which creates a unique atmosphere that attracts foreign students and faculty, facilitates their interaction with Nizhny Novgorod colleagues, introduces them to our rich traditions and promotes studying at our universities," emphasized Olga Guseva, Minister of International and Interregional Relations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

"This diversity of cultures and educational systems created a unique atmosphere for exchanging experience and knowledge, which is an important aspect of the modern educational process. Internships at four universities — the N.A. Dobrolyubov Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University, Innopolis University, N.P. Ogarev Mordovian State University and Knyaginin University — created a platform for strengthening international ties and exchanging experience among young teachers and researchers, which will undoubtedly contribute to the development of education and science at the global level," said Nikita Avralev, acting rector of the N.A. Dobrolyubov Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University.

During the final assessment, participants of the Summer Institute from different countries presented seven unique projects in the field of Social Sciences aimed at developing intercultural interaction and socio-cultural adaptation of students in a multilingual educational environment. "This once again proves that the Summer Institute erases borders and allows you to find new engaged partners who are on the same wavelength as you. We are convinced that these projects have a big and bright future," emphasized the project coordinator, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and International Cooperation Anna Gorokhova.

At the closing ceremony all foreign specialists received certificates of professional development as well as certificates of participation in the internship sites. These documents confirm their active participation in the project and may become an important step in their future careers.

"The successes of this project underscore the need to continue such initiatives that contribute to strengthening international ties and the development of educational systems in a global context. It is an excellent platform for cooperation and the exchange of best practices in education," summed up project participant Lo Wei, a Russian language teacher at the Qingyuan Natural Science Bilingual Senior Secondary School.
