Companies from Nizhny Novgorod are invited to participate in the second cohort of the "Export Boost-2025" acceleration program.

      Entrepreneurs from Nizhny Novgorod are invited to take part in the second cohort of the acceleration program "Export Boost," which is being implemented by the Nizhny Novgorod Region Export Support Center under the REC Export School program as part of the national project "International Cooperation and Export."

      "During the training, participants of the 'Export Boost' program receive a theoretical foundation in export activities and practical tools for their development. For example, Dir System, a participant in the first cohort of the project, has already signed an export contract to supply conveyor equipment to an enterprise in the Kyrgyz Republic. Another five companies plan to sign export contracts with enterprises in Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Belarus and Azerbaijan by the end of the year," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The minister added that the training program consists of six modules: introduction to export and project activities, market selection and buyer search, export marketing, financial terms and execution of an export transaction, negotiations and contract conclusion.

      He added that the program is open to both novice exporters and those already experienced abroad who wish to expand the geography of their exports, increase turnover, or enter foreign markets with a new product.

      Upon completion of the acceleration program, each company will prepare plans for entering foreign markets and export projects. Within 12 months from the end of training, they will conclude new foreign trade contracts.

      Small and medium-sized enterprises meeting the following requirements may participate in the "Export Boost" acceleration program: operating for at least three years prior to application, annual revenue of at least 30 million rubles in the previous year, and publicly available financial statements.

      Recall that 20 Nizhny Novgorod companies took part in the first cohort of the "Export Boost" acceleration program. Participants identified Turkey, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, China, India, Iran, Qatar and Armenia as promising markets for development.

      Since the program began in 2021, employees of 65 companies from the Nizhny Novgorod Region have completed the training. As a result of solutions developed during the events, participants signed 54 export contracts with companies from Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Georgia and other countries.

      Recall that the national project "International Cooperation and Export," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is being implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod Region by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship. The national project's goals are the development of foreign economic ties with friendly countries, an increase in exports of goods and services, growth in shipments of agricultural products and the creation of international export infrastructure. From 2025 the national project includes four federal projects: "Export of Industrial Goods," "Export of Agricultural Products," "Systemic Measures for the Development of International Cooperation and Export," and "Creation of Overseas Infrastructure to Support Exports."
