      In Nizhny Novgorod a probe is underway into the injury of an employee of a food service enterprise. This was reported by the press service of the regional State Labor Inspectorate.

      According to preliminary data, on the morning of July 31 a 25-year-old cook working for LLC "Tiflis" suffered chemical burns to the scalp while performing his job duties.

      After the incident the injured man sought medical assistance at the Prioksky District clinic. Doctors classified the injuries as severe.

      As Ilya Moshes, head of the State Labor Inspectorate for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, said, in accordance with the labor legislation of the Russian Federation an official investigation of the accident has been launched.

      The causes and circumstances of the incident are being established.

      Earlier it was reported that the chief veterinary doctor lost consciousness and died on the premises of a dairy farm in Koverninsky District.
