Culture and Leisure: The building of the former zemstvo administration in Lyskovo is being put up for auction. This was reported by ANO "ASIRIS".
According to them, the house is a regional cultural heritage site and is in an emergency state. Since 1917, the house housed the Council of Workers, Soldiers, and Peasant Deputies of the Makaryevsky Uyezd.
The stone two-story building, L-shaped with a basement, consists of three parts: the former house of Countess Anna Tolstoy, a building belonging to lumber merchant Ivan Petrovich Anikin, and a brick staircase annexed in the 1960s. The total area of the structure is 1,140.7 sq.m., and the adjoining land area is 945 sq.m.
The facades are designed in eclectic and rational modernist styles. The building is decorated with a decorative cornice, stone window surrounds, arched attics, rounded pediments, and a balcony with a wrought-iron railing in a meander pattern. Finishing elements include tiles-imitation materials and window panes characteristic of the early 20th century.
The interior space includes 28 rooms on the first floor and 33 on the second. Original wooden doors, ceiling lamps, and a concrete grand staircase have been preserved.
The house is located in the historic center of the city, at the intersection of Malaya and Bolshaya Sovetskaya streets. Previously, the building was part of the active trade zone of the Nizhny Market and served as a significant landmark in urban planning.
The auction is scheduled for September 19, 2025, with applications accepted until September 15. The starting price for the property is 5,612,000 rubles.
