      Economy Participants of the SVO and their families can join the project "Create Your Career" of the Nizhny Novgorod Personnel Center "Work of Russia."

      The project started in July 2024. Its goal is social adaptation and employment integration of SVO veterans. They have access to career guidance training, resume workshops, interview preparation, and strategic sessions with employers. Employment service career consultants provide comprehensive support and offer individualized career development plans.

      "The 'Create Your Career' project is an important part of our work in integrating veterans into the region's economy. It contributes not only to their well-being but also to the development of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Enterprises and NGOs in the region are actively involved in the project," emphasized Igor Pantyukhin, head of the Department of Labor and Employment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Among the fields of potential employment and professional training that interest SVO participants are programming, UAV operation, and driving.

      "Our task is to help this category of job seekers adapt to civilian life and find their place in the labor market," said Lyudmila Egorova, director of the Nizhny Novgorod Personnel Center "Work of Russia."

      The project partner is the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the state fund "Defenders of the Fatherland," which hosts events for SVO participants and their families.

      "The project plays an important role in comprehensive support for SVO participants and veterans. We have created an individualized support system for each participant. Thanks to our partnership with the 'Defenders of the Fatherland' fund, we have been able to offer veterans in-demand retraining and employment programs," stated project manager Alena Minlebaeva.

      The project is implemented in 46 branches of the Nizhny Novgorod Personnel Center "Work of Russia" and at the "Defenders of the Fatherland" foundation premises.       Recall that starting in 2025, Russia, by presidential order of Vladimir Putin, launched the national project "Personnel." It includes four federal projects: "Labor Market Management," "Active Employment Measures," "Education for the Labor Market," and "The Working Person." The activities of the national project aim to train personnel effectively and promptly to meet employers’ needs through coordinated work among educational institutions, companies, and the government.
