City team achieved their fifth consecutive victory in the Dzerzhinsk football championship.

      On Tuesday, August 5, in the latest round of the Dzerzhinsk Open Football Championship among men's teams, "City Team" won 5-2 against one of the tournament leaders, "Triumph-97-GeoSM" from Ilegorogas. Contributing to the victory were the players of Dzerzhinsk "Khimik": goalkeeper Nikita Shulkin, who played excellently at the last line, and forward Dmitry Merenchukov, who scored two goals. Also, Andrey Kuptsov scored a double, and Alexander Kuptsov added another goal from a penalty. The Ilegorogas players who scored were Alexander Krasilnikov and Vladislav Boryakov. On the same day, at the "Kaprolaktamovets" stadium, the TTT team delivered a crushing defeat to SS "Khimik," scoring 13 goals against their opponents and conceding only one. Anton Ivanushko scored a hat-trick, with two goals each credited to Danylo Belyov and Alexander Lapin.
