The upgraded "Generation of Heat" boiler houses will improve the reliability of heating for thousands of residents in the Leninsky district.

      Generation Heat LLC (part of EN+ Heat Volga) is modernizing two boiler houses in Nizhny Novgorod: on Zavkkomovskaya and Profintera Streets. Outdated equipment is being replaced with new, energy-saving installations.

      The contractor is carrying out work to replace heat-mechanical and electrical equipment, installing pump groups and gas distribution points. Specifically, at the boiler house on Zavkkomovskaya Street, two modern hot water boilers with improved technical features have been installed.

      "Fully automated boilers on Zavkkomovskaya and Profintera Streets will improve the reliability and quality of heat supply for nearly a thousand residents of 30 apartment buildings in the Leninsky district. Moreover, the equipment, compliant with modern environmental standards, will reduce the amount of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere," noted Anatoly Sidorenko, director of Generation Heat LLC.

      The works are proceeding on schedule and will be completed before the start of the heating season.

      Mikhail Yefimov, acting general director of the Nizhny branch of EN+ Heat Volga LLC, pointed out that all enterprises of EN+ Heat Volga are undergoing equipment upgrades and major repairs in preparation for the upcoming heating season.

      For example, TEPLOSET jsc is updating 3.3 km of insulation on heat highway overpasses and replacing 16.7 km of pipes in the Autozavodsky and Leninsky districts. Hydraulic tests are being conducted on main and quarter pipelines. The networks are being tested for strength and tightness to improve the quality of heat supply during the autumn-winter period.

      At the Autozavodskaya TPP, the extensive current repair of boiler unit No. 15 has been completed. The 23rd stage of the rotor of the medium-pressure turbine T-100-130 has been restored, sections of steam pipes replaced, and a new start-up oil pump installed. Parts of the steam pipe and bypass pipes on turbine unit No. 12 have been replaced. A new transformer with a capacity of 63 MVA has also been installed.

      At the "Severnaya" boiler house of Generation Heat, work is ongoing to upgrade boiler unit No. 4.

      In total, resource-providing organizations of the EN+ Heat Volga Group supply heat to over 2,800 facilities in the Autozavodsky and Leninsky districts, including 1,570 apartment buildings where 400,000 people live, and 200 social facilities such as schools, kindergartens, clinics, and others.
