      Another group of volunteers has departed for the special military operation (SMO) from a unified recruitment point in Nizhny Novgorod. Inspired by the examples of their compatriots, men from various regions of the country are joining the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces to defend their homeland and loved ones.

      For example, a volunteer from Moscow traveled specifically to the Nizhny Novgorod recruitment center to sign a contract. Before signing, the young man completed UAV operator courses and military training. He is confident that he can assist his combat comrades in the SMO zone and is ready for serious challenges.

      “I believe that in such difficult times, we must protect our native land and loved ones. My family understood my decision, is proud of me, and trusts me. We will definitely achieve victory because we are fighting for justice and for our people,” said the Moscow volunteer.

      The desire to contribute to the common cause and help friends on the front lines became the main motivation for the conscript from Yekaterinburg to go to the SMO.

      “I couldn’t just watch my friends fight while I was here — in the rear. This was a conscious decision for me; I want to prove to myself and to the country that I am capable of a lot and willing to fulfill my military duty. My relatives supported my decision to serve and are eagerly awaiting victory. Victory will be ours because Russians are strong, and justice is on our side!” — said the Yekaterinburg resident.

      Volunteers from other regions note that Nizhny Novgorod offers comfortable conditions for signing a contract. The process is streamlined through a one-stop shop, so there’s no need to travel elsewhere.

      We remind that the state provides decent material support for defenders of the Motherland and helps their families. Additionally, those who sign contracts and go to the SMO zone are issued certificates for 10 acres of land in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The certificate can be used two years after receipt.

      Furthermore, Nizhny Novgorod region operates a mechanism for signing military social contracts, which additionally guarantees each soldier’s family 10,000 rubles per month per child, benefits for utility payments, preschool services, and other types of support. Individual family support for servicemen is also available.
