      Society Metro construction workers successfully passed nearly 250 meters of the second tunnel section between the stations "Sennaya" and "Ploshchad Svobody" in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Metro NN."

      Work is being carried out using the tunnel boring shield "Vladimir." The tunneling has reached an important milestone — the completion of the turn from Bolshaya Pecherskaya Street. This is the first significant marker in the construction route.

      The next stage will be passing through the ventilation chamber on Belinskogo Street. According to the plan, this milestone is expected to be achieved in the third quarter of this year.

      "The tunneling of the left section is being conducted under challenging hydrogeological conditions, which, however, do not significantly affect the progress of 'Vladimir'," said Alexander Kuraev, deputy head of the mining work section of the 'Mospromproekt-3' group of companies (general contractor).

      It was previously reported that metro builders are testing the soil stability at "Ploshchad Svobody."
