       Heated shelters for homeless cats will begin to appear on the streets of Nizhny Novgorod. The initiative is being implemented by the animal rescue charity "Ugol" together with artist and architect Aleksey Luka.

      The main goal of the project is to help street animals survive the cold season, hide from rain, and access food in one safe place. The shelters will be small, but warm and reliable.

      However, the installation of these shelters will not be chaotic, but based on actual need.

      To choose suitable locations, organizers will consider the number of cats in the area, the opinions of local residents, and compliance with sanitary norms.

      Applications for installing a shelter in the yard can be submitted through a special form. The link to it is published on the official Telegram channel of the "Ugol" fund.

      Earlier, it was reported that fines are planned for improper walking and keeping of animals in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
