      Residents of Nizhny Novgorod can expect a series of geomagnetic storms in August 2025, some reaching five on the eight-point scale. The schedule of geomagnetic disturbances has been published on my-calend.ru.

      Strong magnetic activity is forecasted from August 7. On this day, a storm with a strength of four points is expected. This geomagnetic storm will last until August 15, with peaks on August 11 and 13, when the disturbance intensity will increase to five points.

      The next period of magnetic activity will begin on the night of August 17 and last for five days. On August 19, the strength of the magnetic storm will reach 5 points. At the end of the month, on August 29, another solar flare may occur — the geomagnetic storm could reach four points.

      Doctors recommend that people sensitive to weather changes pay close attention to their bodies during days of increased magnetic activity. During these periods, it is important to avoid physical and emotional overexertion to minimize potential negative effects on overall health.
