A major fire occurred in the city of Bor, Nizhny Novgorod region, resulting in the death of a young child. This was reported by the regional EMERCOM department.
The fire broke out in a residential building on Dzerzhinsky Street. The flames engulfed not only the building itself but also a garage and two vehicles. The total area affected was 141 square meters.
Seven people, including one child, were evacuated from the burning house by rescuers. Unfortunately, a 6-year-old girl died.
At the scene, 14 EMERCOM officers and five units of equipment were involved.
Currently, EMERCOM specialists are conducting an investigation. Investigators are determining the exact cause of the fire.
It was previously reported that a criminal case was initiated due to the death of a mother and her 3-year-old child in Dzerzhinsk.
