In Nizhny Novgorod, police solved a case of bicycle theft. A man stole bicycles worth over 50,000 rubles. This was reported by the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod region police.
A resident of Pobeda Street contacted the police when two unlocked bicycles disappeared from her entrance. The total value of the stolen items amounted to 55,000 rubles.
An criminal case was initiated based on the incident. The suspect was detained before attempting to sell the bicycles. It turned out to be a 36-year-old man with prior convictions, who immediately confessed. The stolen bicycles were returned to their owner.
