      Information about a dog attack on a child in the village of Zelecino, Kstovo District, has attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies.

      According to the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the child sustained injuries as a result of the attack. The investigative department in the city of Kstovo has initiated a preliminary inquiry into the incident.

      Officials are establishing the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the investigation.

      Villagers reported on social media that this is not the first case of a stray dog attacking children.

      It was previously reported that a criminal case was opened following a dog attack on minors in Dzerzhinsk. Bastrykin demanded a report on the investigation.
