TNT will show a series featuring views of Nizhny Novgorod.

      On August 1, the series "Three Sisters" was released. Nizhny Novgorod is at the center of the events. This was reported by the TNT Channel's press service.

      The comedic series "Three Sisters" will premiere on August 1 first on the KION online cinema platform, and later on TNT. The residents of Nizhny Novgorod were the first to assess the new project — a special screening took place on July 12 at the "Gorky Fest" festival. Director Marusia Trubnikova, lead actresses Marusia Klimova and Polina Gukman, as well as KION's creative director Ilya Burets, attended the event.

      Nizhny Novgorod is not just a background in the story but a fully-fledged hero of the series. All events take place right here. The city became an important part of the filming, and its beautiful views often appear on screen.

      The project was shown not only in Nizhny Novgorod but also in Moscow — on July 30, the first episodes were presented at the Color Line Theater. Viewers will be able to see picturesque city landscapes filmed last summer right at the beginning of the series.

      The main characters are three sisters: Ira, Olya, and Masha. They all want to move from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow, but each has her own plan. They all rely on their mother Tatiana, who runs her own jewelry business. However, Tatiana has other concerns: she returns from vacation with a young massage therapist. The city immediately discusses the new romance, and the daughters suspect that the man is a scammer. They want to warn their mother.

      Director Marusia Trubnikova explains that the idea to create such a series belongs to writer Alexander Tsypkin. He became the creative producer and also played one of the roles.

      "Three Sisters" is a story about women of different ages, their feelings, and hopes. The comedy can be watched from August 1 on KION, and later — on TNT.
