
The head of the Investigative Committee ordered to open a case regarding a dog attack on a child in Kstovo.
August 2, 2025, 15:15 [172] Incidents The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has ordered a criminal case to be initiated regarding an attack by a stray dog on a child in the village of Zeletsino, Kstovo District. According to available information, the animal bit the child on the hand. Witnesses report that the dog has shown aggression towards local residents more than once. A procedural review is underway by the regional Investigative Committee. Bastrykin has instructed to open a case and to report on the progress and results of the investigation. The implementation of the order will be monitored by the Central Office of the Investigative Committee.
