      SocietyPresident of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a law granting tax authorities the right to collect debts from citizens without going to court. The document was published on the official legal acts website, reports "360" TV channel.

      The law expands the powers of tax authorities, allowing them to collect various types of debts, including fees, fines, insurance contributions, penalties, and interest, without judicial proceedings. The changes will take effect on November 1, 2025.

      After the debt repayment deadline expires, tax authorities will have six months to decide on enforcement and inform the citizen. The notification will be sent via the taxpayer's personal account on the "Gosuslugi" portal or by registered mail.

      Debt collection will be carried out in stages. Initially, funds from bank accounts, electronic wallets, and digital rubles will be used. If these funds are insufficient, enforcement will continue through cash and property. However, everyday items will be exempt from collection.
